Named after Theodore Herzl, the father of modern Zionism, Herzliya lies about 15 kilometres north of Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean coast. An up-market beach resort, Herzliya features six beautiful beaches of golden sand, with a 2 kilometre promenade along the seafront and one of the largest marinas in the Middle East. Herzliya is home to a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and water sports facilities and is also within easy reach of Tel Aviv and its exciting nightlife.

Netanya

One of Israel's friendliest resorts, Netanya is ideal for families and offers a good selection of value for money accommodation and a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Busy Netanya town centre offers a range of restaurants and pavement cafes, while the lofty cliff tops enjoy spectacular views of the Mediterranean and beaches below. Haifa

Haifa is the third largest city in Israel and is located about 90 kilometres north of Tel Aviv at the base of Mount Carmel. With spectacular views of the city and the Mediterranean, this wonderful city is home to the beautiful Baha'i Shrine and Gardens as well as a great variety of shops, malls, restaurants and museums. Haifa offers plenty to do, as well as making a great base for exploring nearby attractions.
