The Elysium enjoys uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean Sea and has been sensitively designed in a palatial style primarily influenced by the Byzantine era. The cultural references of its architecture evoke the rich history of Cyprus and combine elements from Greek, Roman, Medieval and Venetian times. A blend of local stone, marble and timber, warm muted colours and decorative features such as mosaics, arches and columns reflect the aims of the designers to create a sense of place and tradition, where guests can enjoy a relaxing and stimulating holiday in a peaceful and secluded environment.
A variety of accommodation is offered ranging from Deluxe Bedrooms with balconies to Royal Luxury Studios, Cyprian Maisonettes and Royal Garden Villas with private pools making the resort ideal for families and couples of all ages. Facilities also cater to business travellers with free WIFI throuhgout in the whole hotel, including the lobby, public areas and conference rooms as well as in all bedrooms. All bedrooms have been tastefully designed using materials and soft furnishings in warm earthy colours: stone, ochre and terracotta. Both the fabrics and furniture are based on Cypriot tradition.
All deluxe bedrooms consist of twin, double or king-sized beds and reflect the high standards and elegance of the Elysium’s public areas. These bedrooms have en-suite marble bathrooms with bathtub and hand shower, WC, bidet, magnifying mirror and telephone. Even though the rooms are furnished and equipped of the same high level of standard, you can choose between rooms with inland view, side sea view, and sea view. The hotel also offers rooms for the disabled, as are all hotel public areas wheelchair accessible. Connected units are available upon request.
Traditional to Cyprus, these 23 Cyprian Maisonettes incorporate a double height sitting room overlooked by a mezzanine sleeping gallery, separate shower room and walk-in wardrobe which are located over the entrance and bathroom. Rooms are designed to a high standard in a local style with rustic terracotta tiles and ceilings of timber and bamboo. Impressive arched patio doors overlook the royal gardens from one side (12) or have their own garden on the other (11).
The “Megaron” with its arcaded ground floor and colonnaded loggias on the first floor is a stately structure housing 12 studios. These rooms offer greater luxury and space than the deluxe bedrooms. As well as being set apart from the main building, they overlook the Tombs of the Kings from one side and the village square from the other. The ground floor units have private gardens with plunge pools.
The Family Suites consist of a bedroom and separate parlour with comfortable seating arrangements, a second LCD TV set, a writing desk and a guest bathroom with WC and shower stall. The Family Suites have private balconies and are available with carpet or marble flooring.
Royal Garden Villas
Set slightly apart from the main building, these villas with private gardens and pool are designed around a traditional village square lined with lemon trees. In the centre of the square is a sunken swimming pool surrounded by a stone colonnade which is particularly beautifully lit at dusk. Each villa also has a private garden, plunge pool and jumbo-bed in its garden. The interior spaces recreate the traditional Cyprian village house with mezzanine sleeping areas and living space of double height. These villas with stunning views are the ultimate retreat for those searching for privacy and tranquility.
Dining is a key element of the Elysium experience. A choice of six restaurants offers guests delicious gourmet menus and appetising healthy options, using locally grown ingredients. Satisfying our executive chef’s demand for fresh and flavourful ingredients, farmers of a plot of land adjacent to the hotel grow a multitude of herbs and vegetables ready to be delivered to the hotel kitchens day by day.

Visit the Lemonia any time of the day, for breakfast, lunch or dinner – with a children’s menu to make sure every member of the family is more than satisfied!
